We are committed to our policies and procedures to ensure "best practice" Injury and Claims Management, OHSE, HR/IR and Culture within the workplace at all times. 

Rehab Options Provider Services employs Allied Health Professionals as well as Personnel with experience with Scheme Agents or Workers Compensation Insurers. We expanded to providing many of our services on a National basis in 2000.

The Role:

We currently have an opportunity for additional Rehabilitation Consultant's to enhance and facilitate the smooth running of our team at Miranda. The other services we provide include HR/IR, OHSE & Work Conditioning. Note: We have an onsite Gym. 

Based on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant you will engage or be trained to be an effective and professional member of the team. It is highly desirable that you have outstanding written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to engage all parties to achieve positive outcomes.


Your key responsibilities include:

- Communicate in an effective and timely manner, verbally and written with multiple key stakeholders.

- Achieve Outcomes personally and with the organisation.

- Plan and coordinate the injury recovery and rehabilitation needs of multiple clients based on knowledge of relevant legislation and schemes.

- Facilitate teamwork by collaborating with, mentoring and supporting colleagues.

- Participate in scheduled file reviews and claim review, talent maps.

- Achieve KPI's

- Maintain professional CPD requirements and accreditation (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW). Must be registered with the appropriate authoritative body. 

- Adhere to workplace policies and procedures.

- Develop SMART goals for client recovery and return to work rehabilitation.

- Identify client specific needs, barriers to return to work.

- Maintain rapport and professional relationships with clients, Insurer's and key stakeholders.

- Conducting specialised assessments in line with your skills and qualifications which includes ADLs, FCEs, VOCS, treatment.

- Contribute to developing and improving of assessments and service.

- Proactively implement tailored strategies for multiple clients. 

- As a team member, engage in all necessary duties to facilitate effective and timely outcomes.


Keys skills and experience required:

- Tertiary qualifications / Allied Health credentials in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology (EP), Rehabilitation Counsellor, Psychology, Physiology or Physiotherapy.  

- Provisional or Full Registration with the relevant accreditation authority (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC)

- Preferred 2 years' experience in as a Rehabilitation Consultant, injury management, case management.

- Drivers licence.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills via verbal and written

- Strong work ethic and a 'can do' attitude'

- Intermediate to Advanced experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
